Karen began her career as a small animal veterinary nurse where she gained 18 years experience working with animals. Her passion was always in surgical nursing and watching animals go through more and more advanced procedures ignited Karen's interest in rehabilitation. It was from here that her interest in veterinary physiotherapy began.

She then qualified as a veterinary physiotherapist in 2013 after successfully completing the Level 6 Canine and Equine Physiotherapy Training (CEPT) Advanced Certificate, accredited by the University of Middlesex.

As well as starting a successful mobile physiotherapy business Karen has gone on to achieve her clinical educator certificate enabling her to become a practical tutor at Nottingham Vet School on the PGDip/MSC Veterinary Physiotherapy course. Karen's area of specialty is small animal rehabilitation, in particularly canine rehabilitation, but cats and rabbits are also frequently treated. Subsequently Karen has also gained her Level 3 Hydrotherapy certificate. Physiotherapy service's are available to animals in the South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire areas.
