Meet the Team

At Karen Goodall Veterinary Physiotherapy, our dedicated team of qualified veterinary physiotherapists have had a shared commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of animals since 2013. Each member brings a wealth of experience and expertise, ensuring that all our patients receive the highest standard of care. Every team member plays a vital role in delivering personalised treatment plans, tailored to the specific needs of your pet and continuously strive to maintain a collaborative and compassionate environment, fostering a strong bond with both clients and their beloved companions. Our team specialise in small animal rehabilitation but also treat sporting dogs aiming to enhance performance.

We offer a comprehensive animal physiotherapy service with our therapists being fully insured and registered, ensuring safety and knowledge throughout your pets treatments. Appointments are based at our clinic in Treeton, Rotherham. Mobile physiotherapy appointments are available on request, subject to availability

Please note: Veterinary physiotherapists are not trained in veterinary medicine, just as veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses are not trained in veterinary physiotherapy. Veterinary physiotherapists are paraprofessionals working in the veterinary industry. We operate a referral based service which compliments treatments provided by veterinary surgeons and aims to improve animal welfare and quality of life.

We are proud to be trusted by veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and owners alike to provide up to date and effective physiotherapy programs.

Karen began her career as Registered Veterinary Nurse, where she gained 18 years experience working in a busy small animal practice and inspiring an interest in physiotherapy. Karen qualified as a veterinary physiotherapist in 2013 after successfully completing the Level 6 Canine and Equine Physiotherapy Training (CEPT) Advanced Certificate, accredited by the University of Middlesex.

Since qualifying Karen has been balancing the running of the veterinary physiotherapy clinic with teaching commitments at the University of Nottingham where she is a clinical educator alongside having spent 3yrs as a Teaching Associate on the PGDip/MSC Veterinary Physiotherapy course.

  • BSc(Hons) PGDip Veterinary Physiotherapy MIRVAP (VP)

Caitlin began her journey with horses, completing a BSc in Equine sports science. During this time she learned about physiotherapy in greater depth, sparking a passion that inspired her to continue her education. She went on to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham and now works with both canine and equine patients.

While Caitlin enjoys every aspect of her work, she has a particular love for exercise prescription. This is where dogs truly shine, showing off their skills and enthusiasm during tailored routines. Caitlin often incorporates similar activities into playtime with her own dog, blending professional expertise with genuine enjoyment.

Outside of work Caitlin leads an active lifestyle, taking her dog on long walks, going to the gym and even getting out on the golf course whenever she can.
